Photographs from Two Years in Poland and Other Stories, Chapters
4-8: Lawrence Siddall's adventures from 1954-1956 in Munich, Istanbul, Baghdad and Bombay.
During these adventures, Mr. Siddall's traveling companion was John Westergaard - who was later to become a well-known Wall Street broker as well as the financial advisor to Senator Patrick Moynihan. Mr. Siddall and Mr. Westergaard also chanced to meet up in the Persian Desert with Group Captain Peter Townsend, Royal Air Force Pilot and one-time suitor of Princess Margaret. The three men traveled together for a period of time.
